TROJENA (The Mountains of NEOM) will be an iconic, world-class destination, blending natural and developed landscapes and will offer unique experiences for residents and visitors alike. Located in the northwest of Saudi Arabia in the region of Tabuk just 50km from the coast, TROJENA will be a destination like no other on earth. Summary of Responsibilities:

The Construction Supervisor - Structural Steel- Superintendent is assigned to the organization, responsible for managing, coordinating and oversight of contractors works and work completion of major primary steel structures of the project. Provides expertise in the planning, review and ensure that the steel structures installation operations and performance of the contractors are following plans, specifications, safety and quality requirements, whilst maintaining effective coordination among team members.

Essential Job Duties:

\xc2\xb7 Responsible for construction oversight and compliance of steel installer contractors, ensuring works are carried out as per the drawings, specifications and standards, as per schedule and ensures compliance to ES&H plans, quality standards and local/national regulatory safety code.

\xc2\xb7 Responsible of the site supervision of works involved in foundation works and superstructure installation.

\xc2\xb7 Assists construction supervision in planning construction methods and procedures.

\xc2\xb7 Coordinates engineering or construction problems with Senior Construction Engineer and/ or Construction Manager.

\xc2\xb7 Identifies construction quality, safety and schedule issues and makes the responsible Construction Manager aware of said issues.

\xc2\xb7 Monitors site activities to ensure works are performed in a safe and compliant manner.

\xc2\xb7 Interprets design engineering drawings and ensure contractor\'s compliance to construction issued drawings, including: Temporary construction facilities

\xc2\xb7 Field sketches of revisions and additions and preparing "as built" drawings

\xc2\xb7 Reviews design drawings, study interface problems and reviewing related vendor drawings and installation instructions.

\xc2\xb7 Review estimating quantities and material takeoffs of the field purchases of materials submitted by the contractor and report discrepancies to his supervisor.

\xc2\xb7 Coordinating interior design materials selection with involved stakeholders

\xc2\xb7 Ensure interior works installation in compliance with design and client approval.

\xc2\xb7 Assists in coordination of vendor material deliveries, storage of materials, expediting and engineering reports related to the schedule.

\xc2\xb7 Review and stay on top of field change notices, extra work orders and back charge notices.

\xc2\xb7 Attend daily/ weekly coordination and progress meetings with the Contractor.

\xc2\xb7 Collaborates and compiles daily reports for submission to the Senior Construction Engineer - Construction Manager

\xc2\xb7 Review of Method Statements and safety submittals for the week of Safe Systems of Work procedures

\xc2\xb7 Assists Senior Construction Engineer with interface and stakeholder management.

\xc2\xb7 Maintain a zero-accident policy on site with the contractor through regular participation in the clients\' health and safety programs and undertaking regular health and safety audits on site.

\xc2\xb7 Monitors installation of materials and equipment to assure conformance with drawings and specifications.

Qualifications, Experience, Job Knowledge, and Skill set Requirements:

\xc2\xb7 Minimum 10 Years of experience in large steel erection projects with significant primary steel works scope, out of which a minimum 5 years of experience in similar role, with direct Construction or Construction Management responsibility

\xc2\xb7 Thorough knowledge of international standards and specification and codes as applicable including various safety procedures and practices associated with the construction works.

\xc2\xb7 Thorough knowledge of steel construction requirements and codes of practice

\xc2\xb7 Experience in arranging logistics and supply chain efforts to support the schedule.

\xc2\xb7 Experience in arranging and supervising standard and non-standard lifting methods, including multiple lifting devices on site at any one time.

\xc2\xb7 Experience in KSA / Middle east / GCC, either on Construction Management role or Direct Construction experience on construction projects

\xc2\xb7 Must be able to demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills to maintain a positive work environment between all parties including the Client, Contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.

\xc2\xb7 Experience of working in mountainous terrains, in construction of region connecting projects such as roads, rails, related utilities and other infrastructures like camps, approaches, lifestyle buildings etc.

\xc2\xb7 Experience of working and living in remote camp locations is preferred.
