A Day in the Life\xe2\x80\xa6

Our team builds strong partnerships and collaborates closely with consumer-packaged goods and pet categories licensees. If selected for this role, you\'ll support the day-to-day business operations team and report to the Director Licensing & Consumables. Some of the exciting projects and work includes:

Category Analysis:

Conduct periodic store checks and present insights on product and promotional trends.

Ability to effectively translate data points such as sales forecasts into useful insights.

Research & understand competitive landscape. Analyze and understand market trends and consumer trends.

Product Development:

Liaise with the greater global and product development team to ensure accurate and timely approval of product and packaging on online product approval. Ensure product features are communicated optimally on packaging.

Retail, Sales and Marketing

Support North America Marketing approval process. Submit and track all category, franchise, and legal approvals \xe2\x80\x93 navigating internal processes and systems.

Proactively engage PR and Social Media teams to provide priority products lists and amplify key licensee\xe2\x80\x99s product lines.

Prepare presentations, request Marketing samples and lend a hand with other tasks as they come up.

High level of curiosity about Licensed Consumer Products

Excellent organizational and project management skills and ability to prioritize multiple task and assignments.

Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills.

A great teammate with strong interpersonal communication.

Self-starter, motivated, proactive, dependable, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Solid digital literacy (Keynote, Excel, Word, Power Point).

Required Education:

Undergraduate students in their senior year (or recently graduated within the past six months) pursuing a bachelor\'s degree in marketing, business, communications, social sciences or other related field

Internship Eligibility:

Must be enrolled in a college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within the past six (6) months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship

Must be at least 18 years of age

Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.

Must possess unrestricted work authorization

Must provide full work availability

Must provide own transportation to/from work

Current Active Disney cast members must meet Professional Internship transfer guidelines (for Walt Disney World cast members this is no more than four points and one reprimand in the last six months; for Disneyland cast members this is six months of consecutive service and a performance record clear of any disciplinary issues (warnings, suspensions, etc.) for at least six months)

Program Length: The approximate dates of this internship are January 2024 through June 2024. Interns must be fully available for the duration of the internship (40 hours/week) Monday through Friday, with possible evenings and weekends if necessary.

Housing: This internship is based in Orlando, FL. A limited amount of company-sponsored housing is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. For more information .
