Our client is seeking a dynamic Full-Time Content Marketing Manager to join their team remotely at their San Francisco/ Bay Area office. This role involves crafting captivating, high-performing content to engage both new and existing customers and audiences. The marketing team\'s ultimate goal is to fuel the company\'s rapid growth.
Responsibilities:
Lead the recruitment and supervision of a team of writers and oversee social media channels.
Develop, edit, and review marketing content across various platforms such as websites, blogs, white papers, social media, and more.
Strategically promote content through diverse marketing channels (including social media, email campaigns, and syndication) to effectively reach target audiences.
Possess a foundational understanding of SEO, content categorization, content structure, distribution, and analytics. Ensuring that all content aligns seamlessly with the brand\'s voice and style.
Collaborate closely with key stakeholders across Sales, Customer Success, Product teams, and other team members to generate top-quality content that aligns with ambitious growth objectives.
Coordinate and contribute to public relations activities, including writing press releases, pitches, and maintaining up-to-date materials.
Oversee external PR firm when necessary.
Requirements:
Minimum of 4 years of professional experience.
A passion for writing and a knack for simplifying complex subjects. Proficiency across various channels, with a specialization in creating compelling content that drives product demand and captures the attention of potential customers. Additionally, you excel in communicating the brand\'s message to existing customers through emails, nurtures, and up-sells.
Possess a strong editorial mindset with an emphasis on crafting content that resonates with key audience segments.
Proven track record of producing engaging content that provides substantial value to readers. Please provide work samples that highlight this skill.
Skill in analyzing analytics reports to discern successful strategies and areas for improvement. You approach analytics with curiosity, leading to adjustments in copy and visuals to optimize content performance. Experience with A/B testing is a plus.
Effectively communicate visual requirements and brainstorm ideas with photo editors, graphic designers, and video producers to generate visually impactful content.
Proficiency in social media platforms, including mastery of best practices for platform-specific posting. Experience in managing paid social content campaigns is advantageous.
Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all work.
Exceptional writing and editing capabilities. Possess the ability to transform concepts into compelling narratives and produce polished, vibrant copy.
Familiarity with WordPress and Google Analytics or other analytics reporting systems is a beneficial skill.
Comp: $80,000-$150,000 (base, depending on experience)
