Responsibilities
Cedar Springs Hospital has an opening for a Full-time Cook.
The Cook is responsible for food preparation of menus developed by the Dietary Consultant. The cook prepares and supervises aides in the preparation of foods based on recipes developed for the food service industry, which meet the current nutritional guidelines.
The Cook is responsible for ensuring that all food preparation is done to meet state, JCAHO, and federal standards and guidelines for safety and sanitation.
The Cook also attends meetings and in-service training as necessary.

Cedar Springs Hospital COVID-19 vaccination mandate:
In accordance with Colorado state public health order, all healthcare workers must be vaccinated, and the Company must verify vaccine status. Pursuant to this public health order, the following modes constitute as proof of vaccination:
an electronic entry in the Colorado Immunization Information System (CIIS); OR
an immunization record from a licensed healthcare provider who has administered a COVID-19 vaccine to an individual who provides services for the facility or agency, specifying the vaccine administered, name and title of the person who administered the vaccine, address of the location where the vaccine was administered, and the date it was administered. A
COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card (issued by the Department of Health and Human Services Centers for Disease Control & Prevention or WHO Yellow Card) which includes name of person vaccinated, type of vaccine provided, and date last dose administered would suffice.
Exemptions
Workers may be exempt from the vaccination requirements by providing a signed exemption form indicating one of the following:
