Tucked into the north woods of Wisconsin, the 4 Seasons Miscuano Island is located on the 100 acre Miscauno Island in the Menominee River \xe2\x80\x93 which divides Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

Overview

Responsible for maintaining, setting up, food production and quality control of all meat, fish, fowl, sauces, stocks, seasonings and other food items prepared in the broiler and saute stations, as well as the grill and other stations as needed. $350.00 Sign-On Bonus!

Essential Functions:

-Develop your knowledge and skills in various cooking procedures and methods (grill, saut\xc3\xa9 and fry).

-Opportunity to experience using knives and various kitchen equipment.

-Reach and recreate recipes.

-Be consistent on all food preparation.

-Learn how to minimize food waste through cross utilization.

-Create workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment.

-Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat).

-Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen.

-Ensure all food and other items are stored properly.

-Responsible for the quality of ingredients.

Qualifications

-Active Food handler\xe2\x80\x99s certification or the ability to get it.

-2-3 years previous culinary experience in a professional kitchen environment preferred.

-Must be willing to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts.

-Requires strong organizational skills.

-Must be able to work independently.

-Able to be on your feet for long periods of time.

-Able to lift at least 50 pounds.

-Have a desire to exceed expectations.

-An energetic personality.
