Henderson Hospital is a member of The Valley Health System, a network of acute care and specialty hospitals that provide care for patients throughout Southern Nevada and nearby communities. Located in Henderson, NV, the acute care hospital offers emergency care, surgical services, including an outpatient surgery center, cardiovascular care, women\xe2\x80\x99s health and maternity services, including a Level III neonatal intensive care unit, outpatient wound care and two freestanding emergency departments \xe2\x80\x93 the ER at Green Valley Ranch and the ER at Cadence. Henderson is not just a place to live, but truly a place to call home.:Responsible for assisting with implementation and maintenance of the Infection Control Program\xe2\x80\x99s hospital\xe2\x80\x99s surveillance. Serves as a resource to all hospital departments, participating in identified projects or groups related to Infection Control.
QualificationsShift: FULL TIME DAYSEducation:Minimum Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Nursing, Clinical Microbiology or other health related science required. Master\xe2\x80\x99s in Nursing, Education, Edpidemiology, Public Health, Clinical Microbiology or other health related science preferred.Experience:Two (2) to five (5) years clinical experience in health related field required. One (1) year experience in Infection Prevention or epidemiology preferred.Technical Skills:Computer proficiency to include word processing, spreadsheet and database.License/Certification:Current State of Nevada license in Nursing, Medical Laboratory Sciences, or other related health science if applicable.
