Job Description

The Cottonwood Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and accurate delivery of Cottonwood warehouse program items to all its customers including Holiday Oil Company C-stores and other independent customers.Essential FunctionsJob duties include but are not limited to:\xc2\xb7 Ability to load truck daily with product orders from Cottonwood Warehouse\xc2\xb7 Delivers orders to customers throughout Utah in a timely manner following work methods to ensure safety and efficiency\xc2\xb7 Offloads product from truck using 2-wheeler and/or pallet jack.\xc2\xb7 Delivers and stages product in store based on customer\'s specific needs.\xc2\xb7 Checks in tobacco product with customers\xc2\xb7 Accounts for missing product through accurate recording on invoicing and issuing memos as needed.\xc2\xb7 Properly transports returned product to main warehouse, i.e., tobacco and checks returns in with warehouse staff\xc2\xb7 Picks up and returns empty totes/crates to warehouse after each delivery.\xc2\xb7 Picks up and discards any shrink wrap and disposes of using dumpsters only to maintain a clean and safe work environment.\xc2\xb7 Ability to work a regular four-day, 10-hour shift across an established Monday through Friday workweek.\xc2\xb7 Ability to begin work at 4:00 a.m. and work until deliveries are completed.\xc2\xb7 Ability to work some overnight shifts as required.\xc2\xb7 Driver is subject to monitoring by an onboard camera system.\xc2\xb7 The driver is responsible for pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the daily maintenance of their assigned vehicle.\xc2\xb7 The driver will collaborate with each customer\'s management team to ensure prompt and accurate deliveries.\xc2\xb7 Other duties may be assigned as business needs dictate.Qualifications\xc2\xb7 Must be 21 years of age or older\xc2\xb7 Must have two years safe driving experience in box-truck or larger.\xc2\xb7 A CDL is not required for this position.\xc2\xb7 Must have a good driving record.\xc2\xb7 Current DOT medical card required.\xc2\xb7 Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.\xc2\xb7 Ability to work in multiple temperature environments including general warehouse areas, customer stores where refrigerated delivery areas exist.\xc2\xb7 Ability to work in varying weather conditions.\xc2\xb7 Ability to handle deadlines and interruptions in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-oriented environment.\xc2\xb7 Good math skills required.\xc2\xb7 Must have good interpersonal communication skills.\xc2\xb7 Functional use of the English language needed for general communication, reading and writing.\xc2\xb7 Must be able to work between the hours of 4:00am until deliveries are completed.
