Job Description

Provides scheduled courier services from MLHS to outreach clinics at Garrison, Hillman, Isle and Milaca Clinics as well as Isle Retail Pharmacy. Picks up and sorts mail, deliver\'s medications, supplies, charts and other information to MLHS\' clinics and pharmacy on a scheduled basis. Periodically is asked to do other errands as requested by Facilities Manager
or Facilities Supervisor.

Job Duties

• All mail, supplies, medical records, x-rays are delivered at designated sites.*
• Receives and sorts mail to be delivered to service areas.*
• Stops at required locations such as Pharmacy, Lab, Post Office, Home Care, and other locations as requested by the facility manager.*
• Willing to wait for labs or other items if asked to do so by clinic staff.*
• Delivers biohazard and hazardous waste to MLHS\' main campus from designated clinics and pharmacies.
• Demonstrates safe driving practices.*
• Adheres to MLHS policies and practices.*
• Delivers items, such as labs, x-rays and mail to appropriate service area upon returning.*
• Vehicle is kept clean after all courier runs.*
• Vehicle repairs are reported to Facilities Manager or Supervisor. Ensures vehicle\'s routine maintenance is completed.*
• Willing to make extra runs to Brainerd for supplies or other extra duties that may come upon short notice.
• Ability to adjust scheduled times if severe weather is present or vehicle problems occur.*

Required Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minnesota valid driver\'s license, at least 21 years old with at least 3 years driving experience.
• Clean driving record
• Must be able to follow written instructions

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Hourly, Part time, Monday through Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Supervisory Responsibility
The position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
