Welcome to the role of Credit and Collections Specialist! In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful collection of payments from our customers. You will be responsible for evaluating customer creditworthiness, setting up payment plans, and maintaining accurate financial records. Utilizing your strong communication and problem-solving skills, you will be the go-to person for managing customer financials. Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor customer accounts for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities
  • Evaluate customer creditworthiness and set credit limits
  • Review customer accounts and contact customers to discuss payment plans
  • Investigate and resolve customer queries
  • Resolve customer complaints regarding billing or payment issues
  • Track delinquent accounts and initiate collection proceedings
  • Review credit applications and recommend approval
  • Maintain customer records and contact information
  • Provide customer service assistance as needed
Requirements:
  • High School or Equivalent degree. Associates degree or higher a plus, but not required
  • Professional experience in credit and collections strongly preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other accounting software applications
  • Experience with Epicor ERP strongly preferred
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in credit and collections
  • Working knowledge of accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work
