This position is eligible for up to $15,000 in incentives for eligible candidates!

Along with the incentives, we are offering paid cross-training into the CT modality!

This position will be working a four-week rotation (working everyday from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.):

- Week 1: Sunday and Thursday
- Week 2: Sunday and Monday
- Week 3: Sunday and Thursday
- Week 4: Friday and Saturday

This role will be working two 12-hour shifts one week, including working every 4th weekend.

Job Summary

Provides healthcare services, applying cross-sectional computerized tomography (CT) imaging and all related duties to assist diagnosis or treatment. Performs CT procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by; or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Provides appropriate patient care and recognized patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure. Acts as a role model for comprehensive care, addressing the physiological, and socio-cultural needs of patients and their families and acts as a resource to other radiology employees in managing complex issues. Assures equipment is present and accounted for at the beginning and end of each shift.

Essential Functions

  • Verifies patients\xe2\x80\x99 clinical history, ensuring that information is documented and readily available to the licensed practitioner.
  • Completes proper patients identification and order verification. Prepares patients for procedures, providing instructions to obtain desired results, gain cooperation, and minimize anxiety.
  • Selects proper technical factors and operates equipment and accessories as directed. Positions patients and equipment to best demonstrate the anatomic area of interest, respecting patient ability and comfort.
  • Prepares / administers contrast media and / or medications as per protocol.
  • Evaluates images and data for technical quality, manipulates display parameters, and pushes images to picture archiving and communication system (PACS) as the accepted electronic format for permanent patient record, assuring proper patient identification is evident.
  • Schedules patients for procedures.
  • Assignments are routine; follows established protocols. Works under close supervision, seeks guidance where needed; requires some instruction on day-to-day work and resolves routine problems.
  • Maintains a clean work environment and communicates any equipment malfunctions to appropriate department/unit personnel.
Qualifications
  • Required Associate\'s Degree or equivalent years of experience in related field
  • Preferred Bachelor\'s Degree
  • CRT-Nuc Med Technologist (N) - ARRT upon hire required Or
  • CRT-Nuclear Medicine Technologist - NMTCB upon hire required Or
  • CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT upon hire required And
  • CRT-Computerized Tomography (CT) - ARRT within 2 years required
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA or ARC within 90 days required
