We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of meals, ensuring high-quality food and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to menus, recipes, and food safety guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety standards
- Order and receive ingredients, supplies, and equipment as needed
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and presentation
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer requests and complaints
- Develop and implement new recipes and menus to enhance customer experience
- Maintain accurate records of food production, inventory, and waste
Requirements:
- Experience in a commercial kitchen
- High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects
Working Conditions:
- Work in a commercial kitchen environment with exposure to heat, cold, and noise
- Frequent standing, walking, and lifting
