CURATORIAL PRINT & CONTENT ASSOCIATE
OVERVIEW: The Seattle Art Museum is looking for a Curatorial & Print Content Associate IDEALLY with a background in managing art publications and gallery labels. The Curatorial Print & Content Associate oversees the museum\xe2\x80\x99s in-house curatorial text and content, including exhibition catalogues and in-gallery texts (labels) for 20+ exhibitions and installations per year. Known as the only repository of art from around the world in the Northwest, SAM organizes diverse exhibitions and publications. In addition, its permanent collection galleries are updated regularly with changing installations.
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Exhibitions, the Print & Content Associate coordinates production schedules, budgets, and contracts for publications and gallery related text and content. The Print & Content Associate also supervises the museum\xe2\x80\x99s on-call editor and works closely with individual museum curators on publications and labels for the changing galleries and exhibitions across three SAM locations.
The Print & Content Associate is in constant rapport with members of the curatorial division as well as colleagues in other departments; is mindful of the institution\xe2\x80\x99s mission; and helps to foreground values of racial equity. The ideal candidate will combine excellent project management and communication skills with a love of art.

FLSA STATUS: Non-exemptREPORTS TO: Senior Manager of Exhibitions and Publications
COMPENSATION: $24.02-$30.03 hourly pay range; 40 hours per week
BENEFITS: Full time employees are covered by medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance/LTD/AD&D. Employees are able to enroll in our company\xe2\x80\x99s 403b plan.
