JOB SUMMARY

iClean Master Custodian certification/FSPMA Master Custodian certification required, and 5 years experience as Plant Manager in the District. This position will supervise a large crew and make staffing recommendations as well as budget and inventory control and ordering supplies. Must meet Safe Driver Plan II standards.

Responsible for the implementation of a unified custodial services program, ensuring compliance with federal and state standards, laws, and regulations. This includes ensuring clean and well-kept facilities; training custodial management and staff; advising principals regarding custodial staff performance; and providing support to staff to meet district-wide custodial services goals.

EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Five years of experience in management of custodial operations
• OR
• Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the position

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES & REGISTRATIONS

• Florida School Plant Management Association (FSPMA) Master Custodian certification or 5 years of experience as a Plant Manager for the District
• FSPMA Custodial Instruction certification or 5 years of experience as a Plant Manager for the District
• Florida Limited Lawn and Ornamental Pesticide License
• Must maintain a driving record that meets the standards of the District Safe Driver II Plan. Driver license must be maintained as a condition of continued employment.

• New hires must meet physical requirements of Post Offer Employment Testing (POET); current employees are not required to have this screening
