Customer Sales Specialist

We serve as a supply channel partner for over 100,000 original equipment manufacturers, contract manufacturers and commercial customers through a global network.

We are looking for a professional, energetic, Customer Sales Specialist who will be responsible for the day-to-day sales activities, sales support, and customer service tasks for specified customers and assigned accounts. This position serves as a liaison between Arrow\'s internal resources (field sales, engineering, supplier marketing, manufacturing facilities, purchasing and other corporate departments), suppliers, and customers.

What You\'ll Be Doing:

• Relationship management
• Coordinate resources and processing of customer quotations (Quote Center, Quote Cover Sheet, PM Views, Management, FSR, Suppliers, Value Add, and SSG) for specified customers.
• Order preparation
• Thorough knowledge and accountability of supply chain engagements
• Negotiate pricing (non-contract only), provide quote markup (owns strategy and application of cost plus markup) and notify the customer of related price increases, maintain margin integrity
• Work with appropriate supplier contacts and internal departments to solve pre-sales and post-sales problems
• Handles local expediting and assists global opportunities through local escalation
• Provide proactive notification to customers of changes to delivery status, conduct bond reviews with customers (Shortages & Turns), manage SMI (Slow Moving Inventory) and NCNR (Non-Cancellable, Non-Returnable) customer conversations, own Hard & Planned Order management, PCN (Product Change Notification) Coordination and deliver and maintain the POI (Perfect Order Index). This is comprised of OTD (On-Time Delivery) and E2E (End-to-End Order Quality).
• Support the sales team with direct customer contact for Order to Invoice process within Planned Demand.

What We Are Looking For:

• 2-3 years of sales experience
• Bachelor\'s degree preferred
• Industry experience with a distributor or supplier a plus
• Strong negotiation, verbal, and written communication skills are essential
• Excellent interpersonal, organization, problem-solving, and customer service skills
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, prioritize, and deal with ambiguity
• Proficient with MS Office including Word, Outlook, and Excel is a must
• Must be comfortable working in multiple systems and applications
• New hires are expected to be in person for the initial 8 weeks of onboarding; once this period is completed, the employee will then move to hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote).

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:

$27.90 - $34.10

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
