South Metro Animal Emergency Care is an AAHA accredited 24/7 emergency care facility that is part of the Lakefield Veterinary Group. We are currently looking for team members to join us on part-time basis for morning shifts (7am-4pm), evening shifts (5pm-2am), and weekends. Some holiday hours will be required. Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Welcoming pets and their families and creating a comforting environment.
• Precise and dedicated client service and follow through.
• Emergency triage over the phone and in person.
• Client check-in and record management.
• Client check-out and working with clients on payment options such as CareCredit and ScratchPay.
• Handling difficult conversations about finances with respect to the clients.
• Anticipate client\'s needs, provide information, and compassion.
• General clean-up of lobby, exam rooms, and entrance area.
• The ability to assist clients through difficult times, such as euthanasias.

• Minimum of one years\' experience working in a client focused role in aveterinary practice.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to handle stressful situations in a positive, productive way.
• Works well with the team.
• Able to think critically and make decisions.
• Willingness to learn and grow within veterinary medicine.
• Strong desire to provide exceptional service.
