Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill our Medical Store Customer Service Representative position. The Medical Store Customer Service Representative is responsible for serving walk-in customers and phone-in customers. We are a smaller branch and all of our staff is cross-trained to fill in any role necessary for a successful branch operation. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Greet customers in a professional and enthusiastic way
• Answer telephone calls promptly
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of products, placement, availability, price and use
• Efficiently assess customer needs for product or services
• Educate patients/clients on medical products and services
• Fit and sell medical products and services to customers
• Process customer orders and accurately input customer orders into the computer
• Keep showroom stocked, clean, organized and presentable
• Pull orders for will call pick up
• Ship various products via common carrier, USPS, UPS, etc.
• Properly receive all items shipped to the branch on a daily basis
• Place all items received into their appropriate locations on a daily basis
• Notify appropriate parties of shipments and backorders received
• Notify supervisor of all inventory discrepancies of shipments and in-store inventory
• Will need to be able to move freight pallets weighing up to 500lbs using pallet jack, and smaller freight items using hand carts, shop carts, etc.
• Remove cardboard from collection sites in the branch and place it into a recycle bin outside on a weekly basis
• Order and receive rental equipment and place items into their appropriate locations
• Fill liquid oxygen reservoirs for traveling customers and for in-store use
• Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent, college degree preferred
• Medical billing experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry objects weighing up to 100 lbs
• Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Accurately enter data into computer and acquire a working knowledge of any software applications necessary to the position
