DAC Event Team and Bar Staff

DAC's mission is to elevate Artists to transform communities through artist opportunities and development. We are an Arts based Nonprofit organization, originated here in Rehoboth Beach, DE. We are seeking someone to support us in our mission and join DAC's event team! DAC is committed to creating special events at the West Side Creative Market three times a week, showcasing 20 Local Artist Vendors selling handmade goods, a full craft cocktail, beer, and wine program, DIY projects on site, live music & entertainment, weekly food trucks & culinary creative vendors, and a general "good vibe".

DAC has a unique story; we have worked hard to build a strong brand for the organization. All of our events are a representation of the hard work DAC puts into the artist opportunities and community outreach offered. By creating amazing Markets and events, we amplify the success of the artists. These events are all considered fundraisers, giving back to DAC so that we can work harder to help Artists develop sustainable careers.

DAC was founded on the idea that we are building something incredible together. We are not here to simply run an organization but to build an innovative non-profit unlike anything else. We are a vibrant youthful organization (regardless of age).

Responsibilities & Duties:

The DAC West Side Creative Markets are a fun time for all (including the staff) but do require someone ready for a fast paced, positive environment filled with community and guest interaction, attention to detail, and willingness to help with a variety of tasks in any given day.

Bartending abilities:

The Market Bar is the biggest fundraiser for DAC. We specialize in housemade craft cocktails, and canned local beer and wine. Bartending requires physical lifting (40lbs +), and standing for long periods of time. Prep of cocktails and ingredients, and service of beverages on site. Prepping, stocking beer/wine/alcohol and other bar items throughout the shift as needed. Event maintenance such as setting up tables and chairs, umbrellas, cleaning up the grounds. Set up and break down of event materials required. Using Square POS for sales to customers, handling cash responsibly and appropriately. Sales and positive customer interaction is a must! Responsiveness to the DAC management team. We are a small and mighty crew! Live Music: We have live music nightly, we ask that all of our staff is aware of the musicians needs and communicate them with Event Managers as needed.

Desired Qualifications

Bartending experience Sales experience Able to lift 50+ pounds, plus 8-10 hours on your feet Comfortable and friendly in social environments Outgoing friendly personality
