SummaryForsyth Health is our newest data strategy & services company in the Evernorth family of solutions. We are launching this data strategy & services company focused on unique data sharing capabilities with pharma manufacturers that will ultimately strengthen better health outcomes for patients and especially those more vulnerable populations across the country.The Data Governance and Strategy team is searching for an energetic and data driven Data Engineer to bring business acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills to the organization. The Data Engineer will be responsible for creating and implementing a relational data model that is reusable, flexible and scalable in Databricks using eligibility, medical claims, pharmacy claims and other data sources.Role and Responsibilities

• Understanding Databricks platform capabilities and how to apply, improve and expand those capabilities to our datasets.
• Work with large datasets, performing data collection, extraction, manipulation and aggregation.
• Develop and maintain data models to support data sales, analysis, reporting and custom projects.
• Implement data cleansing processes to improve data quality.
• Engage with stakeholders to assess business needs and understand how analytics affects the broader business, bridging the gap between data insights and business stakeholders with regular and clear communication.
• Understand business problems brought by stakeholders and how best to apply data analytics and problem-solving skills to develop appropriate solutions.
• Build domain knowledge to support your responsibilities and oversight.

Qualifications

• 3+ years relevant work experience in healthcare advanced analytics.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment; operates well with ambiguity.
• Proven ability to collaborate with others, establish working relationships, and communicate effectively within a large corporate matrix environment
• Experience with SQL, Relational Models, Hadoop, Tableau, Alteryx, SAS, Python.
• Experience with Databricks Platform.
• Ability to identify and prioritize opportunities for impact, develop analytic solutions and leverage technology
