Job Overview
Required:
Expertise with Epic EMR is essential (must be on the resume) High School Diploma/GED 2 Years of abstraction experience Familiarity with medical terminology Meticulous attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred:
Associates/Bachelors degree Familiarity with medical billing/coding 2 years of clinical experience (MA, LVN, RN)
Job Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively to ensure that data received, indexed, produced and maintained in the medical record is accurate and secure. Abstract clinical information from patient medical records in accordance with established guidelines and protocols Maintain clear, professional communication with team members, providing updates and responding to messages promptly Deliver high-quality work within established timeframes while proactively identifying potential challenges Apply feedback constructively to enhance annotation quality and efficiency
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $27.00 - $28.45 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
8 hour shift Day shift
