Serve as a Data Scientist/Analyst supporting a government customer
Develop, transform, and model data to improve decision making
Provide data extraction and manipulation of data sets
Produce workflows and predictive models for end-users using system tools
Conduct analysis on data to ensure correct predictive forecasting
Manage the analytics request process by capturing requirements
Create and maintain analytic dashboards
Establish data standards and act as custodian of IT
Service delivery data sets and streams
Security Development and Operations (SecDevOps)
Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI with a Full-Scope Polygraph
BS in Computer Science or related
11+ years of data science experience
Experience integrating diverse data streams
Experience analyzing complex networks and systems
Experience analyzing log data from various network components
Knowledge of the complex environment involving shared networks
Familiar with multiple security enclaves
Splunk familiarization and dashboard creation experience
Preferred Skills:
Network security background with ability to analyze log data
Familiarity of how to generate logs and metrics from product suites, such as:
Cisco, Juniper, and desktop/server
OS Expertise with Splunk (Power User Cert preferred)
Hands on experience with Splunk advanced apps such as:
ITSI, SOAR, and UBAPublic
Private and hybrid Cloud experience (AWS, Microsoft Azure, etc.)
