The job profile for this position is Database Administration Senior Advisor, which is a Band 4 Senior Contributor Career Track Role with Cigna-Evernorth Services, Inc.Requirements:

• Create databases in multiple environments as determined by business needs. Support application releases through manual and automated processes.
• Ensure stability of database environments through the implementation of backup, recovery, and alert functionality.
• Support day-to-day requests from the application team, which includes database loads, creation of IDs, database backups/refreshes, and performance tuning. Create and/or enhance internal processes for database creation and support. Troubleshoot database performance problems and implement resolutions.
• Partial virtual/work from home benefit available.

Qualifications:

• Position requires a master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field and three years of experience in any IT role, or a bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field and five years of experience in any IT role.
• Must have experience with: Oracle database administration with multi-tenant architecture; database standard concepts, practices, and procedures; Oracle 19c experience with latest tuning and optimization techniques; Oracle DB upgrade experience with Oracle 12c & 19c; relational and dimensional data-modeling; designing and developing new databases and schemas; Splunk; Dynatrace; TOAD; and Putty.
