Description

Leidos Civilian Health Solutions is seeking a HR Specialist for a Federal Health Program, contingent upon contract award.

Work is expected to be hybrid in nature and candidate must be local to the DC Metro area or willing to relocate to the area.

The ideal candidate will be very organized, highly self-motivated, detail oriented, and adept at multitasking with a demonstrated ability to respond quickly to often changing priorities in a high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Production and distribution of ad hoc requests for data and/or reports from Agency senior leadership and the various Agency offices.
  • Archiving and maintenance of archived materials, both digital and hard copy, including the conversion of hard-copy materials to digital files of departed personnel.
  • Providing support to human resource related functions that include hiring, personnel administration and management, personnel accountability, employee relations, performance and awards, and transition.
  • Production of various regular staff reports distribution on a weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Produce and distribute documents required by human resources specialists for term staff meetings with senior leadership.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business Management, Information Technology, or related field with 8-12 years of
experience or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree with 7 years of experience. * Must have thorough knowledge of the Privacy Act and its application to the HR office functions and implication of misuse of data subject to the Privacy Act.
  • Experience developing HR databases and support of HR functions.
  • Experience managing an HR database, and familiarity with FEVS, HR data, etc.
  • Experience with a government agency is required.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office suite - Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, Publisher, Adobe Acrobat, and document scanning equipment.
  • Ability to obtain HHS Public Trust
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with Advanced Research Project Agency (ARPA) model (i.e., DARPA, ARPA-E, IARPA, HSARPA), structure, and processes, as well as associated HHS and ARPA laws, rules, regulations, and requirements is preferred.

Pay Range: Pay Range $97,500.00 - $150,000.00 - $202,500.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
