Walters-Morgan is currently hiring a Certified Crane Operator. This position follows pay designations from the Davis-Bacon Wage Act for Murray County Oklahoma (both heavy and building designations). Ideal candidates will possess both TLL and LBC designations, have experience operating other types of heavy equipment, and be willing to travel upon completion of this project,

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate should be certified, safe, & efficient in the operation of various equipment such as:

• Mobile Cranes, both Lattice Boom Crawlers and Telescopic Boom, Swing Cab RT\'s (LBC & TLL designations)
• Dozers
• Wheel Loaders
• Excavators & Mini-X\'s
• Skid Loaders
• Compactors

Note: The ideal candidate would also be willing to travel upon completion of the initial project. We attempt to keep all employees as close to home as possible, but due to the nature of the construction industry, we must go where the work is. Walters-Morgan Construction is based out of Manhattan, KS and works on projects located throughout Kansas, Nebraska, and Oklahoma.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

For Certified Crane Operators, you must have current NCCCO Certifications.

For all equipment operators, you must be able to perform all required inspections and checklists (daily/weekly/monthly as necessary), fill out log books, perform basic maintenance tasks, and be able to demonstrate the safe and efficient operation of the equipment from day one.

Must be able to pass a background screen and drug screen.

For all equipment operator positions: We do not provide a 100% equipment operator role. If work has slowed down and there is not any need for equipment operation at that time, you will be asked to do other tasks which would help move the project in a positive direction.
