Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, fostering their growth and development. This role requires a strong understanding of early childhood education principles and the ability to manage a classroom effectively. The Daycare Teacher will work closely with children, parents, and other staff members to ensure a safe and engaging learning atmosphere.

Duties

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development. Manage classroom behavior by establishing clear rules and expectations while providing positive reinforcement. Observe and assess children's progress, adapting activities to meet individual needs. Create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children to learn and play. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development and any concerns that may arise. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the overall educational experience. Provide care for infants or toddlers as needed, ensuring their safety and well-being. Support children with special needs or disabilities through tailored activities and behavior management strategies.

Skills

Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices. Experience in preschool settings or similar environments is preferred. Proficient in classroom management techniques to maintain an orderly learning space. Ability to engage children in educational activities while promoting creativity and exploration. Familiarity with behavior management strategies to address various challenges effectively. Experience in nannying or providing infant care is advantageous. Understanding of special education needs and the ability to work with children with disabilities is a plus. Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.
