The Delivery Manager serves as the leader of software delivery processes and technical project management at Natural Retreats. This position will partner with technology platform leaders to plan, organize, and execute on the delivery of IT projects. The selected candidate must be available for periodic travel to Natural Retreats offices across the US.This position will be based out of the Charlottesville, Virginia headquarters office with the option for remote working arrangements. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Define and refine the Agile software delivery processes and methodologies to be used for software delivery at Natural Retreats.
In partnership with technology platform leaders, lead delivery of Agile software development projects (scoping, requirements capture, issues/risk management, quality management, continuous improvement, etc.)Manage and assist with team members involved in business analysis, requirements gathering, and quality assurance testing.Facilitate team standup ceremonies for in-flight projects.Maintain relationships with key business stakeholders and their leadership to organize business requests and maintain a prioritized backlog of work for delivery teams.Contribute to the management of high-level IT project roadmaps.Drive integration strategy for corporate systems and applications.Provide technical oversight of platform improvements and business projects. * Provide coaching, career guidance and formal feedback to team members.Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the Team Member for this job.   • 8+ years relevant experience in managing software development projects, with at least 3 years Agile software delivery experience using various methodologies (e.g. Scrum, XP, Kanban).
  • Exceptional communications skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to business users.
  • Significant experience managing vendor and third-party relationships.
  • Significant experience collaborating with business stakeholders in an Agile environment.
  • Ability to collaborate within your own department as well as across the organization.
  • Experience mentoring and coaching team members in a matrix organization.
DESIREDCertified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Project Management Professional (PMP), and PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) is a plusPOSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORKThis is a full-time position (32-40 hours depending upon the candidate).
