We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Delivery Helper. As a Delivery Helper, you will assist the Delivery Driver in safely and efficiently transporting goods to our customers. This is a physically demanding role that requires manual labor and the ability to communicate effectively. Duties:
- Assist the Delivery Driver in loading and unloading goods from the delivery vehicle
- Safely secure items in the delivery vehicle to prevent damage during transit
- Help navigate routes and provide directions to the Delivery Driver
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting with the delivery process and addressing customer inquiries or concerns
- Operate equipment such as forklifts or other machinery as needed
- Assist with moving heavy items or equipment as required Requirements:
- Valid driver\'s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
- Experience operating forklifts or other similar equipment is preferred
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
- Physical stamina and strength to lift and move heavy items throughout the day
- Familiarity with route driving and navigating using GPS systems is a plus
- Knowledge of refrigerated trailer operations is an advantage Note: This is a paid position, and all applicants must be compensated for their work.
