Doctor Recruiter

Job Summary:

As a Doctor Recruiter, you will have a crucial role in finding, evaluating, and bringing talented dentists to our organization. You will be in charge of sourcing, screening, conducting office tours, guiding negotiations for employment agreements, and overseeing the entire recruitment process from the initial contact to the candidate\'s first day. Maintaining open and proactive communication with the Director of Recruiting will be vital, as you\'ll need to provide regular updates on the hiring process and candidate progress. This position will also involve travel within Utah and Colorado, with potential opportunities to travel to other states in the future as the company grows.

Responsibilities:

  • Source and identify potential dentist candidates through various methods, such as job boards, professional networks, social media campaigns, etc.
  • Be responsible for all doctor candidates that apply directly to our job ads in our ATS system and see them through the recruiting process
  • Maintain constant communication with Regional Leaders and Director of Recruiting to stay informed on hiring needs.
  • Screen dentist candidates by reviewing resumes, conducting phone screenings, and evaluating qualifications and experience.
  • Conduct office tours with candidates to provide an in-depth understanding of our operations, culture, and expectations.
  • Schedule and coordinate panel interviews with the Clinical Director team and the Director of Operations for approval of hire after the office tour.
  • Be available for virtual interviews when needed.
  • Maintain regular and direct communication with the Director of Recruiting, providing updates on the recruitment process for active and passive candidates.
  • Communicate all contract negotiations to the Director of Recruiting for approval and official contract composition.
  • Ensure availability for office tours in any location and demonstrate flexibility and willingness to travel.
  • Willingness to work outside of normal business hours when needed. .
  • Follow up with candidates until their start date, addressing any questions or concerns and providing necessary support.
  • Communicate with the Director of Recruiting regarding the status of candidates once they are hired, providing necessary updates and information.
  • Connect the regional leader with the candidate and ensure open communication is maintained after hire.
  • Develop an understanding of needs throughout the company and effectively sell another location to a candidate if needed.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Recruiting to oversee recruiting events including partnering with dental schools.
  • Recognize overall hiring needs by monitoring candidacy starts and hires to meet the monthly and quarterly hiring goals
Requirements:
  • 2 years proven experience as a recruiter, preferably in the dental field or 5 years of experience in the dental industry
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to effectively screen and assess candidates based on qualifications and experience.
  • Familiarity with various sourcing techniques and tools.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within Utah and Colorado, with potential for travel to other states.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in using recruitment software and applicant tracking systems.
  • Strong negotiation and decision-making skills.
  • Reliable transportation
