Operate the cash register to check out customers in a prompt, efficient, and courteous manner, with all sales and transactions properly recorded and collected according to company policies and procedures. Major duties:
\xef\x82\xb7 Check out customers promptly, courteously, efficiently, and accurately
\xef\x82\xb7 Knowledge of equipment
\xef\x82\xb7 Keep work area clean and stocked at all times
\xef\x82\xb7 Knowledge of current ad and all other information posted by head cashier or manager
\xef\x82\xb7 Count till in and out, and maintain required balance
\xef\x82\xb7 Maintain courteous and friendly customer relations
\xef\x82\xb7 Report customer complaints to the manager Minor duties:
\xef\x82\xb7 Provide verbal and physical assistance to customers
\xef\x82\xb7 Maintains alertness for shoplifting and notifies management.
\xef\x82\xb7 Order product to fill shelves when assigned
\xef\x82\xb7 Stock shelves and racks when assigned
\xef\x82\xb7 Perform sweeping and cleaning functions
\xef\x82\xb7 Operate telephones and intercoms and practice proper telephone etiquette.
\xef\x82\xb7 Follow all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Cashier Training Manual and Employee Handbook
\xef\x82\xb7 Performs other duties as assigned Relationships: Reports to Office Manager. Supervises no one. Assists and cooperates with other cashiers where needed to benefit the front end operation. ___________________________________________________________________ Clerk Job Summary: The clerk is responsible for producing, baking, filling, finishing, merchandising, weighing, wrapping, pricing, and providing efficient and courteous customer service. Must follow food safety guidelines and all company policies and procedures. Major duties:
\xef\x82\xb7 Waits on customers in a prompt, courteous, accurate, and efficient manner, uses suggestive selling, and maintains high quality customer relations.
\xef\x82\xb7 Mixes raw materials, follows recipes, and maintains product consistency.
\xef\x82\xb7 Rotates all bakery products on a first in / first out basis.
\xef\x82\xb7 Follows regular cleaning schedule for equipment and cases.
\xef\x82\xb7 Is totally familiar with equipment and operates (if applicable) bread slicers, proofers, scales, fryers, mixers, and ovens.
\xef\x82\xb7 Is totally familiar with weights and measures standards and the proper use of container and packaging materials.
\xef\x82\xb7 Take cake orders; able to script cakes
\xef\x82\xb7 Learn to proficiently decorate cakes Minor duties:
\xef\x82\xb7 Does price changes as requested.
\xef\x82\xb7 Operate hydraulic baler, pallet jack, and trash compactor.
\xef\x82\xb7 Performs freshness checks.
\xef\x82\xb7 Perform sweeping, mopping, and cleaning functions.
\xef\x82\xb7 Keep company recipes confidential.
\xef\x82\xb7 When necessary, waits on deli customers.
\xef\x82\xb7 Operate telephones and intercoms and practice proper telephone etiquette.
\xef\x82\xb7 Follows all company policies as outlined in the employee handbook.

\xef\x82\xb7 Pull or push wheeled vehicles weighing up to 500 pounds.
\xef\x82\xb7 Provide verbal and physical assistance to customers.
