DEPUTY CLERK TO THE BOCC





The Latah County Auditor's Office is accepting applications for the position of Deputy Clerk to the Board


of County Commissioners.





Duties: Performs a wide variety of routine to complex administrative, clerical, and records management


duties to support the BOCC as required by Idaho Code. This position interfaces with the BOCC, Elected


Officials, Department Heads, Community Leaders, Staff Attorneys, the Press, and Public. Coordinates


and schedules meetings of the BOCC, including local, state, and federal agencies, other municipalities,


local organizations, and other Elected Officials. Tasked with Idaho Code requirements for notices,


agendas, and meeting minutes of actions by the BOCC. Confidential administrative support. Perform


other clerical duties as assigned.





Required: High School Diploma or GED - Associate degree in public relations or Equivalent Experience -


3 years demonstrated written and verbal communication skills and working with the public - Typing at 65


words a minute - Computer skills: Word, Excel, Adobe, e-mail, database, forms, tables, calendar - Ability


to make logical judgments quickly - Works independently and efficiently with little or no supervision - Able


to handle multiple tasks on a regular basis - Maintains a high level of confidentiality. Excellent customer


service skills.





Closing Date: February 27, 2025




Salary: $23.74 - $27.93 per hour depending on experience. Benefits and retirement available.
