Detention Deputy

Our Detention Deputy earns a competitive wage of $22.55/per hour, plus excellent benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(a) retirement plan, with a County match up to 7%, paid holidays, PTO, and $50,000 of life and AD&D insurance. Provides for the care and supervision of inmates confined within the Sheriff\'s detention facility while ensuring security of the facility and safety and welfare of staff, visitors, and inmates. Emergency Dispatcher Our Dispatchers dispatch emergency service calls 24-hours per day, 365 days a year for public safety agencies in Archuleta County. Human Services Case Worker I

This position earns a wage of $22.28 - $31.20/per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Family Advocate

Provides various services in order to stabilize children and family systems. Advocates, organizes and plays an important role in accessing community resources or support on behalf of children and families in need of human services and who can benefit from support or crisis prevention/intervention.

Equipment Operator erforms semi-skilled and skilled labor and operates light trucks and construction equipment required for the maintenance and repair of County roads and bridges, snow removal, and flood and wildfire control. This is an entry-level position within the Equipment Operator series. This classification is used for training incumbents typically without prior or with little experience and knowledge in this field or area. Positions in this class work under immediate supervision while learning job tasks. Work is characterized by development of basic and routine skills and knowledge required to perform the job such as equipment operation, use of materials and equipment in the maintenance and repair of roads and bridges, and safety practices.

Bus Drivers

Are you looking for a part time position that offers stability? Archuleta County Mountain Express Transit (MET) is seeking qualified and reliable individuals for the position of Part Time Bus Driver. Our bus drivers earn a competitive hourly wage of $17.44 - $24.42, depending on experience and qualifications. This is a part time opportunity of up to 29 hours per week. Hours will vary. Agricultural Data Collection Specialist Performs and specializes in agricultural appraisal duties and must be able to identify appropriate agricultural land uses and livestock qualification within Archuleta County for the purpose of determining tax assessments. Conducts administrative and technical duties associated with department operations.

Full-time, qualified Water Quality Specialist for our Building and Planning department. Entry wage is $23.47 per hour.

Water Quality Manager/Lead

This Water Quality Manager/Lead position earns a competitive salary of $64,188.84/year. We also offer excellent benefits, including two medical plans to choose from, dental, vision, a 401(a) retirement plan with matching employee contribution election between 4% and 7%, paid holidays, PTO, an additional 40 hours of paid leave for exempt employees, and $50,000 of life and AD&D insurance.
