This vacancy is located in the Dietary/Nutritional Services Department at Eastern Louisiana Mental Health System in Jackson, LA (East Feliciana Parish). ELMHS is the largest 24-hour, multi-site, state psychiatric complex, comprised of residential, outpatient and inpatient services.

This position will be filled as a part-time WAE (open to all qualified candidates).

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Eighteen semester hours of college credit in dietetics or food and nutrition.

NOTE:

Any college hours or degree must be from a school accredited by one of the following regional accrediting bodies: the Middle States Commission on Higher Education; the New England Commission of Higher Education; the Higher Learning Commission; the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities; the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools; and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

Guides individuals and families in food selection, food preparation, and menu planning based on nutritional needs.
