Digital Content Intern
Job Description
We are looking for a creative, dependable, driven college student who is interested in pursuing a career in marketing or communications to join the Ayers marketing team in Q1 of 2024.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media, graphic design, blogging, and storytelling while contributing to Ayers Basement Systems\xe2\x80\x99 content and brand awareness.
Our internship entails a 15\xe2\x80\x9320-hour weekly commitment and is located at our headquarters in Lansing. While our hours offer some flexibility, we prefer most of your hours to be in-office to collaborate with other marketing team members.
What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:
- Develop various types of content, including articles, blog posts, job stories and photo captions.
- Research and analyze current trends and keywords.
- Track content performance metrics to identify areas of improvement.
- Provide support in graphic design, social media or other marketing areas of interest.
- Support local home shows and company events throughout the year, including but not limited to, signup, setup/breakdown, and organization of materials.
- Majoring in marketing, advertising PR, English or Business.
- Ability to work between 15-20 hours per week.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with business use of social media platforms
- Team-oriented with excellent collaboration skills.
- Must be at least a sophomore status or higher.
