Those ineligible locations are Alaska, California, Colorado, Delaware, Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Massachusetts, Montana, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Dakota, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Vermont, West Virginia, Washington, and Wyoming.If you currently reside in an ineligible state, you may relocate to an eligible state and be considered for an internshipDedicate a minimum of 24 hours each week to your internship responsibilities and tasks, up to 40 hours a week. The Intern will support projects that improve the Customer Experience throughout the travel journey.Duties and Responsibilities:The duties and responsibilities of the Digital Solutions Intern may include, but are not limited to:Foster cross-functional relationships to build digital project requirements.Ensure that projects are moving forward, and project statuses are delivered.Analyze data collected throughout the customer journey to inform future strategies.Attend and participate in cross-functional meetings.Work closely with other Departments within Southwest Airlines.Some travel possible.Coordinate communication efforts and support administrative needs as necessaryBasic Qualifications:High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education required.Must be at least 18 years of age.Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.You must have a valid U.S. Social Security Number to complete the full hiring process.Education:Progress towards degree, major or minor in Marketing, Business, Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Public Relations, Advertising, Communications, Hospitality, English or related degree.Progress towards a 4-year undergraduate degree preferredTo be eligible, you must be currently enrolled as a full-time student (as defined by your university) at the time of application and during the internshipAt least one semester remaining at the time the internship ends is preferredMinimum 2.5 cumulative GPA at the time of applicationExperience:Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PPT) is required.Previous work experience or internship is preferred.On-campus leadership experience is preferred.Experience managing a project from conception to completion or building project requirements documents is preferred.Knowledge, Skills, Work Style and Abilities:Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to show initiative and be a self-starter.Ability to work independently and the willingness to function as a part of a Team.Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and complete assignments with tight deadlines.Must be detailed oriented.Must maintain a professional appearance and attitude.Must be able to maintain confidential information.Must be willing to contribute during brainstorming sessions, and actively participate from concept to execution.Time Commitment and Pay:Part-Time 24-40hrs a week.Must maintain a consistent weekly schedule during normal business hours at a max 8hrs per day and no fewer than 24hrs per week.January 28th \xe2\x80\x93 April 17th (12 weeks).$23 per hour + $1,000 stipend paid in two installments of $500.Please print/save the job description because it won\xe2\x80\x99t be available after you apply.To apply, you must submit your application and a resume for each role online at .We are committed to helping individuals with disabilities participate in the workforce and ensuring equal opportunity to apply and compete for jobs.
