University Behavioral Center, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS), is committed to providing intensive mental health services to children, adolescents and adults as well as detox and substance abuse programs for adults. Our mental health facility provides safe and effective inpatient treatment to assist individuals in leading more productive and fulfilling lives. The facility is located on a beautiful 14-acre campus in Orlando, Florida, and includes 112 licensed beds. We are currently seeking qualified professionals with active/clear license in the state of Florida. Previous experience in a psychiatric facility or rehabilitation program is required.
: This active Leadership Team member reports to the CEO. The Dir. Clinical Services (DCS) supervises and directs the work of all Therapists; effectively collaborates with the Chief Nursing Officer, Director of Admissions, Medical Director, and all other members of the hospital Leadership Team. DCS is responsible for the provision of clinical leadership and direction of the clinical staff and serves as a role model in the delivery of superior services and care for the patients of the hospital.
DCS assures adequate number of qualified clinical staff for number and acuity of patients; provides coaching and performance evaluation of clinical staff; maintains departmental budget; participates in performance improvement and patient satisfaction / safety initiatives; assures compliance with all applicable Joint Commission, CMS, and State standards and regulations.
