Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support and care to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration
- Implement individualized care plans and behavior management strategies
- Foster a safe and supportive environment for individuals in your care
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses and therapists, to ensure the well-being of individuals
- Document and maintain accurate records of care provided Experience:
- Must have a passion to help and support other people - Previous experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred but not required, will train the right individual
- Knowledge of medical terminology and nursing home procedures is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with individuals, families, and healthcare professionals
