What you\'ll do

As Director IT Regulatory, you will provide broad thought leadership and oversight across the organization as it relates to regulatory activities. Collaborate cross-functionally and exert significant external influence with regulators and other key stakeholders in the development of key arguments to ensure the delivery of successful outcomes.

Key Accountabilities will include:

• To develop and implement stakeholder management plans and risk management plans, ensuring relationships, plans and key actions are agreed, developed, tracked and communicated for all stakeholders.
• To develop and maintain productive, trusted relationships with key stakeholders and regulators.
• To develop and implement stakeholder and risk management plans, ensuring relationships, plans and key actions are agreed, developed, tracked and communicated for all stakeholders.
• To develop and maintain productive, trusted relationships with customers and regulators.
• To manage reporting to the Regulator (data provided by Business Performance team and influence the Regulators on matters of common interest to ensure the best outcome for the business. This includes the development and implementation of processes to quickly respond to specific requests for consultation / responses to proposals, and attendance at working groups.
• To ensure legislative and regulatory changes that impact the business are understood, communicated and implemented in accordance with license requirements.

Supervisory/Interpersonal- Experience Required

• Ability to influence executive leaders and external senior stakeholders, gain credibility quickly, inspire trust and confidence.
• Experience building high performing teams.
• A collaborative person able to quickly build effective partnerships with others around the business and a strong team culture within a matrixed organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of work experience with industry and government in in a regulated environment
• Minimum of 5 years of direct government or regulatory experience; electric or gas utility experience preferred
• Bachelor\'s Degree in Finance, Business, Public Policy, Political Science or related discipline required; Master\'s Degree preferred

Location: Hybrid. The primary location is Boston however candidates may reside in either, Massachusetts, New York, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont or contiguous states.
Hybrid and flexible working is ingrained into our culture, this permanent role offers a mix of office and home working.
Grade: Band C

Salary

$157,000 - $222,000 a year

This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
