Responsibilities

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree in relevant field (healthcare administration, business, etc.) and/or equivalent practice management experience in a healthcare setting required.

• Thorough knowledge of medical office operations, revenue cycle and regulatory compliance.
• Skilled in physician and employee relationship development.
• Effective in written and oral communication, organizing work and setting priorities in order to accomplish multiple tasks concurrently.
• Thorough knowledge of registration and billing systems.
• Skilled in providing physician practices with information related to best practice techniques and national trends within their designated specialty service line.
• Effective in developing and managing action plans in support of practice and organizational objectives.

• 7+ years of Specialty service line specific care operations management experience as a leader in ambulatory care or specialty physician practice management experience required.
• Must have a thorough understanding of the specialty service line to manage their revenue cycle, patient and physician relations, personnel management, operations, facilities and managed care.
• Experience in management and supervisory leadership.
• Demonstrated knowledge in operational oversight of specialty physician practices.
• Knowledge of legal issues related to physician practices, employment law and fraud/abuse rules.
• Knowledge of project planning and ability to coordinate various projects and activities concurrently.
