Director, Brand Collaboration - Cultural Innovation
Walmart has a vision of putting Walmart into culture and culture into Walmart, requiring teams to work collaboratively across the organization bringing together online and offline experiences, marketing, talent, omnichannel merchandising, research and more to have impact and drive brand relevancy. This role will help scale the operations of Cultural Engagement, building muscle memory into the Enterprise by working to implement best practices, creating Ways of Working playbooks, and helping teams operate efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment that drives positive business and impacts our customers.
The Director, Brand Collaboration - Cultural Innovation, will drive the vision for how teams across the Enterprise work together to deliver for customers at the forefront of change. Your priority will be developing and implementing cross-functional workstreams consumer insights, marketing, merchandising and store/.com operations - to ensure programs are created, tested, and ultimately scaled. Youll identify and help solve complex problems across varying and multiple workstreams with inter-connected parts. Youll focus on high level program management and but will work daily with counterparts towards progress and a simpler, more streamlined way of working together to deliver on programs. This isnt an internal culture transformation role - rather, you will be building and iterating on playbooks, which will include the customers/audience insights, strategy, people and processes, ongoing improvements and training necessary to hit our goals.
Youll work closely with the Director of Business & Cultural Strategy on intersectional aspects of DE&I and Culture, report to the Senior Director of Brand Strategy, and will work with a team of merchants, marketers, operators, and more to deliver culture-driving programs and initiatives.
