Job Description

As the Director of Business Development - Lending, you will be responsible for expanding DLP\'s business by establishing new relationships, sourcing deals, creating new products, and identifying new avenues of growth. This senior leader will be responsible for growing our Elite and Prosperity memberships through organic business development activity.

What you have already achieved: (Requirements)

• 10 Years Business Development Experience
• Prior experience working with family offices in real estate
• Experience with membership programs is strongly preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

What you are great at: (Responsibilities)

• Through networking, cold-calling, and other sales activity establish new relationships with potential clients
• Coordinate business development activity with Sales staff ensuring optimum synergy
• Identify new avenues of growth for DLP Lending with a focus on innovation
• Network and meet with potential clients to gather information on Lending needs and create solutions to meet their needs
• Take the lead on larger Lending deals - sourcing the deals, negotiating terms, and managing the relationships throughout the process
• Work with DLP marketing to ensure proper branding and messaging of all Lending business development activity
• Prospect, Cultivate, Close, and Maintain Large Operator relationships via Elite Memberships & Line of Credits
• Prioritize your workday around prospecting, business development, and origination of loans, LOC\xe2\x80\x99s, and preferred equity for our core clients
• Attend industry and real estate investor events. Present to real estate investors, real estate brokerages, lending brokers, builders, flippers, and Multi-Family Operators
• Qualify multifamily operators and real estate investors for debt and equity solutions
• Present to real estate investors, real estate brokerages, lending brokers, builders, flippers, and Multi-Family Operators
• Prospect, Cultivate, Close and Maintain Ultra High Net Worth relationships for Prosperity Memberships
• Drive attendance and new membership signup at Elite and Prosperity Events
