Director of Finance (REIT Experience)We are currently seeking a highly qualified individual for the position of Director of Finance. This role offers a competitive compensation package of $225,000 per year. The Director will play a pivotal role in overseeing corporate accounting, financial reporting, tax reporting, and private equity investments within our organization. Additionally, they will be involved in managing our main real estate funds and internal controls work, including the launch of new open-ended and closed-ended funds later this year.The ideal candidate will possess a blend of public and private industry experience, preferably with a CPA designation. They should have expertise in open-ended funds and fair value GAAP reporting, as well as REIT compliance and taxation within private REITs, partnerships, and S corps. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong communication skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and outstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities. A bachelor\'s degree in Accounting/Finance and at least 10 years of relevant accounting experience within the real estate industry are required for this role. Additionally, candidates with open-end fund reporting experience and a general understanding of tax reporting and compliance for real estate entities will be given preference.
