Your personal "brand" will allow you to bring new business to the market and convert existing accounts. Your previous experience within the Luxury Market, coupled with a keen eye for photography and art will be a strategic advantage. Start with the Heart - Your Team:As the revenue leader for the Hotel, you will be responsible for a team that includes Revenue Management, Public Relations, Sales, Reservations, Event Sales and Group Services and Marketing for the hotel and all outlets. Your strong relationship building skills and ability to learn the local market will allow for genuine team interactions and engagement.
  • Strong leadership skills to manage diverse employee group with a wide range of experience, resulting in a positive working environment for not only Sales and Marketing, but across all Divisions
  • Inclusive decision maker, good listener, clear communicator and influencer \xe2\x80\x93 someone who is able to bring the team along with them for maximum follow through
  • Train and guide marketing department personnel in the performance of their duties as to specific position responsibilities, performance techniques, reporting procedures, etc.
Master your Craft:You have had experience as a Commercial Director with a record of accomplishment in driving RevPAR and EBITDA performance. You will work closely with the General Manager in communicating the Hotel\xe2\x80\x99s marketing vision, strategies and tactics to the owners for approval and engagement. This role is responsible for presenting the hotel\xe2\x80\x99s performance to ownership on an established basis. You will have a strong background in both group meeting and individual travel sales as the hotel will target these important segments. You will create and deploy paid marketing campaigns, analyze and update SEO, and maintain a current and inviting digital presence on all platforms. You will have a minimum of three years\xe2\x80\x99 experience as a Director of Business Development, Commercial Director or Director of Marketing (with similar scope).
  • Clear communicator for vision of property, in various presentation formats, for engagement with clients and support team in closing business
  • Has a PR oriented way of driving the business for maximum results
  • Strong results in formulating, implementing and maximizing the hotel\xe2\x80\x99s annual marketing plan
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, communicating new opportunities and competitive advantages
  • Revenue minded leader with a comfort level with forecasting and revenue strategy and ability to optimize pricing for RevPAR
  • Strategic thinker who plans initiatives well in advance of booking window for each revenue generating area
  • Monitors and identifies current and future business trends to ensure profitable sales in periods of low and high demand
