Our staff is equipped to provide the latest, research-backed treatments for a maximized rehabilitation experience.We are seeking a Director of Michigan Pelvic Health Institute passionate about mentorship and growth to join our Plymouth, MI team. We understand the complexity of pelvic health issues, and our specialized program is designed to provide comprehensive services catering to a range of concerns, including urinary and bowel symptoms, pain, pregnancy and postpartum conditions, as well as cancers affecting the pelvic and abdominal regions. Our skilled team of Physical Therapists, specifically trained in pelvic floor dysfunction, is adept at addressing conditions such as vulvodynia, vulvar vestibulitis, dyspareunia, vaginismus, and abdominal/pelvic scar pain. We are passionate about helping individuals of all ages and backgrounds achieve their physical goals but specialize in pelvic health rehabilitation.Responsibilities

• Assesses patients and develops and initiates treatment plans based on the evaluation results.
• Review the Physician\'s referral (Prescription) and the patient\'s condition and medical records to determine the physical therapy treatment required.
• Provides direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines.
• Documents findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers.
• Responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians.
• Completes a written plan of care, develops goals based on evaluation findings, and develops a comprehensive program to attain goals.
• Implements physical therapy treatment program and provides essential physical therapy treatments.
• Communicates effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies.
• Ensure timely documentation, including daily notes, weekly workers\' compensation reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Pelvic Health Physical Therapist
• Must possess a Master of Physical Therapy Degree (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree (DPT)
• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
• CAPP \xe2\x80\x93 Pelvic Certification preferred
• Current state of Michigan license or ability to obtain Michigan license and CPR certification.
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) abilities are a plus.
• Possesses basic PC skills and knowledge, including but not limited to Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, Database software, and MS Office.
