Director of Personal Training

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF OUR DIRECTOR OF PERSONAL TRAINING

As our Director of Personal training, you provide leadership for our personal training program which directly impacts the success of our members and our business. Working directly under the Vice President of Membership Development and Personal Training, you oversee all aspects of the department to ensure that we provide exceptional personal training services in an inspiring environment.

You mentor team members, answering technical and procedural questions as well as providing constructive feedback and regular professional development opportunities. On a regular basis, you observe training sessions to ensure quality control. Under your exceptional leadership, your staff is inspired to provide the best possible experience for each of their clients. You also assist with the recruitment and training of new team members for your department.

In order to grow your department, you develop a successful system for sales and upsells. Enthusiastic and goal-oriented, you meet and exceed sales and retention metrics including new client acquisition, client retention, and sales revenue. In addition to interacting with people, you spend time on the computer entering data and keeping track of schedules. You feel great about being part of such an uplifting program that directly changes lives for the better!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR OUR DIRECTOR OF PERSONAL TRAINING

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in the fitness industry
• 2+ years of experience as a personal trainer
• 2+ years of management experience
• Customer service skills
• Leadership ability

Are you self-motivated and goal-oriented? Do you have good communication skills, both written and verbal? WORK SCHEDULE

This personal trainer management position typically works Monday - Friday with some weekend availability.
