The NaphCare Charitable Foundation is seeking an experienced Director of Pharmaceutical Research to join our Headquarters on-site in Birmingham, AL, 35216.

Summary

The Director of Pharmaceutical Research/Clinical Outcomes Research Pharmacist will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify key clinical research opportunities, implement research projects and initiatives, submit research outcomes to peer reviewed journals, present research data at local and national conferences, and assist with proposal writing to obtain grant funding.

\xc2\xb7 Advanced communication, technical writing, and presentation skills

Responsibilities

\xc2\xb7 Documenting, tracking and following-up on critical action items that are both short and long-term in nature

\xc2\xb7 Monitoring critical clinical outcomes metrics and identifying opportunities for streamlining

\xc2\xb7 Writing of grants to obtain project funding

\xc2\xb7 Presentation of research at a variety of conferences as appropriate

\xc2\xb7 Collaborating and participating with external stakeholders such as a pharmaceutical manufacturers and other industry partners on engagement and collaboration discussions

Qualifications

\xc2\xb7 PharmD degree

\xc2\xb7 PhD degree in health outcomes research or equivalent

\xc2\xb7 Active, unrestricted Alabama pharmacist license

\xc2\xb7 Minimum 2 years of research experience

\xc2\xb7 Publication history

\xc2\xb7 Strong time management skills and attention to detail

\xc2\xb7 Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft office or similar (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.)
