Employees must reside in, and work from, one of the above approved states.The opportunityThe SNHU SIS Solution Delivery Director, reporting to the Assistant Vice President Enterprise Digital Platforms, oversees SIS solution delivery, governance and process, analysis, planning, and staff development for the SNHU SIS area. You will complement a broader set of services within Business Technology Solutions (BTS) with the SIS being the "data engine" that powers most of SNHU\'s business processes and integrated ecosystem. An important aspect of this role is building processes that support partnership between ITS teams, process owners, and partners. You will escalate issues for functional issues related to the supported systems and develop processes that partner with other support and technical teams. You will be asked to work with the Director of SIS Platform Operations to provide a comprehensive delivery, and planning program for the SIS (Ellucian Banner). You will also work with other platform leaders within BTS and across the broader ITS team to create a well-coordinated experience for our partners. You will oversee an enterprise application in a higher education setting, and experience managing direct reports. This role can be performed 100% remotely in our approved States. #LI-RemoteWhat you\'ll do:

  • Develop relationships with partners to inform priorities and roadmaps.
  • Work with partners to develop business cases and associated cost/benefit analysis
  • Work with partners to connect strategic intent to tactical capabilities
  • Oversee prioritization, coordination, and backlog processes incorporating governance practices where value informs priorities and investments .
  • Help to moderate cross-process and cross-platform considerations with the help of the BTS Solution Architecture team to ensure solutions across the broad spectrum of services that BTS supports and evolves
  • Monitor and help negotiate contracts with main vendors. Manage Service level agreements and vendor spend.
  • Develop management metrics and reporting for your team.
  • Collaborate with the SIS Platform Operations Director on evaluation, escalation, and diagnostic processes.
  • With the SIS Platform Ops Director, monitor and control issue/problem aging and management.
  • Manage team members to ensure timely delivery of fixes, enhancements, and other deliverables.
  • Take a primary role in team budget development and management.
  • Develop internal processes that work with the processes of other technical teams and further support excellence, incorporating Value Zone and Agile thinking.
  • Develop documentation standards and ensure maintenance and annual testing of processes.
  • Create training, development, and career plans for resources.
  • Understand system interdependencies and collaborate with support and project teams accordingly
  • Have knowledge of and ensure that SIS solutions are consistent with SIS related regulatory and audit requirements
What we\'re looking for:
  • Years of experience: 5+ years within relevant experience.
  • Degree(s): Bachelor\'s in computer science, management information systems, or related field
  • 3+ years of equivalent of experience in lieu of degree acceptable
  • Experience guiding, developing and growing teams
  • Skills in development of metrics and reporting
  • Partner with other technical personnel to understand implication of changes and incidents
  • Experience managing a team of 5+ reports (minimum)
  • Demonstrated experience managing an enterprise application of 500+ users (ERP, CRM, or SIS)
  • Experience working across business and technical boundaries
  • Experience developing SLAs and OLAs for service team.
  • Experience in Banner or Colleague (systems).
Additional experience in:
  • Master\'s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science.
  • Experience with Ellucian Banner SIS preferred.
  • Higher education experience.
