How we LEAD:
As the Director of Supply Chain & Quality Control, you oversee the teams and systems responsible for ingesting and distributing all content through Virgin Music Group\xe2\x80\x99s (VMG\xe2\x80\x99s) supply chain. You are responsible for ensuring the teams, policy, procedures and systems are working in concert to deliver optimal results spanning from client experience to DSP storefronts.
Reporting directly to the VP of Product & Operations, you will oversee two teams: Supply Chain Integration and Quality Control, with direct supervision of their respective Senior Managers. In addition to team management, you will be directly involved in execution of critical projects, design, development and adoption of new tools and system changes, as well as strategic planning, communication and coordination among other operations teams and departments.
How you\'ll CREATE:
Foster ongoing cooperation and collaboration between the Supply Chain Integration (SCI) and Quality Control (QC) teams as two integrated parts of a continuous content flow.
Develop KPIs and other metrics for measuring and improving overall system and team performance and efficiency within the supply chain and support structure.
Lead the ongoing creation and maintenance of VMG\xe2\x80\x99s metadata and asset style guide, accounting for constant DSP and supply chain system and policy changes.
Ensure QC team policy and practice stays in alignment with requirements within and outside of the VMG style guide, both internally and externally.
Manage the relationship with third-party outsourcing firm providing QC and support resources.
Continuously seek efficiency enhancements across all automated and manual workflows across the QC and SCI teams.
Proactively identify and address discrepancies across the supply chain, accounting for policy, training, and documentation (eg: rule enforcement and best practices) and system behavior (eg: data validation and delivery mechanics)
Enhance the process of setting up, integrating, and optimizing new DSP delivery feeds.
Oversee the SCI team\xe2\x80\x99s monitoring of automated supply chain system activity, troubleshooting, and escalating systemic distribution issues.
Optimize high-volume content delivery automation for maximum efficiency.
Lead periodic content delivery reconciliation efforts across top DSPs.
Collaborate closely with product management and engineering to identify, define requirements, prioritize and launch fixes, improvements and new features used by the QC and SCI teams.
Develop and maintain robust issue escalation protocols across QC and SCI teams.
Lead the execution of complex operational projects such as major music service expansions, catalog data cleanup and data migrations.

Bring your VIBE:
Minimum 10 years experience in content management and distribution with at least 5 years directly managing a team.
Extensive operational experience in a digital supply chain environment required.
Comprehensive knowledge of digital assets, metadata, music services, and their associated systems and processes required.
Experience operating and supporting distributed software systems and integrated services required.
Experience with XML data exchange, including DDEX/ERN delivery specifications, is required.
1-2 years SQL experience a plus (MSSQL).
Working understanding of web APIs (http, json, oauth) required.
Involvement in software development processes and lifecycle is a significant advantage.
