About the role:
The Director, Urology Strategy is a critical role in driving and evolving the strategic direction and vision for the Urology division, as we take the division to $2B+. The individual is a critical thought partner to the Urology management board and global franchise leadership teams and must be comfortable executing in high-visibility situations and managing multiple stakeholders. The ideal candidate is an innovative thinker that can bring big ideas forward and challenge the status quo in a productive way.

This is a hybrid role, based out of our Marlborough, MA headquarters.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Partner across the global organization to drive focus on our greatest strategic threats/opportunities and ensure our strategic plan lives beyond the annual presentation.
  • Oversee portfolio process so that we have a portfolio cadence that meets the needs of our customers and sets the organization up to successfully maintain its position of category leadership, in a highly dynamic and competitive environment.
  • Lead key divisional processes, including Global Uro Strategic plan, and tell the story of the division through critical presentations, including Annual Operating Plan Presentation and Investor Day.
  • Develop and manage a high-performing team of six with varying responsibilities including Marketing and Commercial Launch Excellence, MS&A and competitive and adjacency analysis.
  • Oversee quarterly divisional dashboard process, aimed to focus on the critical KPI\'s of the division and provide visibility to our top must wins for the current year.
Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Engineering or Healthcare
  • 10+ years\' experience in market research, business strategy/analytics or product marketing experience
  • 5+ years managing people
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects in the healthcare industry
  • Experience in diagnosing business problems and building and executing multi-faceted, long-term strategic plans
  • Experience providing key performance indicators for the business
Preferred qualifications:
  • Medtech experience
  • MBA or other advanced degree
