Job Summary
Under the direction of the Vice President and Assistant Vice President, the Director takes an active role in facilitating and coordinating regulatory activity for the enterprise and its facilities. The Director will develop and sustain professional relationships and work processes to effectively achieve regulatory approvals from key external agencies including the New Jersey Department of Health (\xe2\x80\x9cDOH\xe2\x80\x9d), Internal Revenue Service, CMS and other regulatory agencies. The Director will work collaboratively and have a front facing with key internal stakeholders including Facilities/Design, Standards, Quality and Corporate and Facility Leadership.
The Director will be involved in a broad range of activities to support obtaining needed regulatory approvals and sustaining compliance for enterprise programs and services including: conducting internal and external research for regulatory standards and interpretations to assist in program design, development and compliance; conducting and reviewing feasibility studies, capacity assessments, community health needs assessments, physician needs studies, population access studies, market demand studies; preparing and submitting various regulatory documentation such license amendments, DOH waiver applications, Certificates of Need and RFP responses, health care surveys and inventories.
