Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen environment. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized promptly, allowing our culinary team to focus on food preparation and service. Duties

Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment. Ensure that all kitchen areas are kept clean and organized throughout the shift. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including washing vegetables and preparing ingredients. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, surfaces, and equipment by sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces regularly. Help with the proper disposal of waste and recycling materials in accordance with health regulations. Support the culinary team during peak hours by providing clean dishes and utensils quickly. Follow all food safety guidelines and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Willingness to learn and assist in various kitchen tasks as needed. Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks.
