Overview

M Health Fairview is looking for a Dispatcher at our Midway location in St. Paul, MN. This position is 0.3 FTE (24 hours per two weeks) on the evening/night shift for 8 hour shifts and an every other weekend rotation.

This position is eligible for benefits such as: Shift Differentials, health & wellbeing resources, and more.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

Receive/transmit via 2-way radio, emergency instructions and requests for assistance from Security/Safety personnel, staff, visitors, and patients.

Supervise a large bank of CCTV surveillance cameras.

Prioritize incoming phone calls

Dispatch Security Officers

Operate Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system

Supervise multiple fire computers and take appropriate actions

Accountable for the safety of patient valuables and cash deposits, end of life procedures, and prioritizing facility & environmental services calls during off-shifts

Perform all related duties/functions/responsibilities as assigned.

One or more years of customer service/security experience

Excellent communication and digital literacy.

Ability to assess emergencies and respond quickly
Qualifications

REQUIRED:

We\'re looking for our candidates to be: customer service focused, able to respond calmly in high stress situations, and be able to pass a background check

PREFERRED:

Do you have an associate\'s degree in telecommunications or law enforcement? One or more years of dispatch or hospital security experience? Even better!
